Basmati Rice

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup long grain white basmati rice
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  • Pour in rice, cover, reduce heat to low and simmer, covered for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let stand, covered and untouched for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Fluff and serve.
