Hawaiian Roll Sliders
Are you looking for a great recipe to bring to your next gathering? I just brought these to our community group and they came out so good. We all really enjoyed them. They are a super simple thing to assemble, and most people would enjoy them. They are also small, so they are perfect for a pot luck where people will be trying lots of things and are a great size for kids to try!
I am super excited to experiment with this recipe now that I have the base down. There are so many great potential variations for this: shredded barbecue chicken or pork, shredded buffalo chicken, roast beef, Swiss, and horseradish… I have a feeling I will be making this a lot when we are having people over and it’s not grilling season. That is my go to when we are having people over, but it doesn’t always work in the cold weather.
Hawaiian Roll Sliders
Ingredients
- 24 Hawaiian slider rolls
- 1 lb sliced deli ham
- 1 lb sliced deli turkey
- 6-8 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 T. melted butter
- 2-3 T. everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Divide the 24 rolls into two groups of 12.
- Slice the rolls in half horizontally as a group to be able to assemble the sandwiches.
- On the first 12 rolls, place a thin layer of ham, 1 layer of cheese (probably 3 slices across all 12) and an additional layer of ham.
- Repeat the same process with the other 12 with the turkey.
- Return the tops of the rolls to the sandwiches.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Remove from oven, brush lightly with melted butter and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
- Bake for an additional 5 minutes until heated through, the cheese in melted, and rolls are lightly toasted.
